Hi KFL!
It's only the 2nd month of this amazing year and yet, the Lord has shown us so much! With our community's theme this year, "CHOOSE LIFE!" (Dt. 30:15), we're sure that the Lord wants us to experience the fullness of life by choosing Him and by choosing the life He has planned for us.
This month's topic for our KPA (we hope you already get used with our new name for the Monthly assemblies :-D) will be all about HONESTY (check the DOWNLOADS section). It is one of the basic virtues that any person should have. Honesty brings out real freedom in us. Honesty gives us integrity in doing our work. And honesty is what makes God happy. For it means, telling the truth, be in truth and living in truth. Therefore, when we choose to be honest, we choose God. For Truth is HIM. And when we choose God, we continue to choose the wonderful life He has for each one of us. And we want our kids to experience that kind of life - a life that will overflow with blessings, a life that is pleasing to our God. And it is just right that young as they are, they'll know and understand that God has a great life ahead of them. They can start now by choosing God through the virtues He is teaching us, like honesty.
We always hope that more than our kids learn the topics we have every month, is that, us, as their parents, coordinators and Heart Champs, be able to live out as well these topics in our lives. So we may be good examples for them and that they may see Jesus in us. We continue to pray for each one of us, asking the Lord for the wisdom and guidance on how to lead His children back to Him.
